Tribal-University Relations Training
This course provides an introduction to relationships between the University and Native nations and offers information and resources pertaining to the following questions:

  • What relationships does the University of Minnesota have with the 11 Native nations of Minnesota?
  • How does the University of Minnesota benefit from being on Indian lands?
  • What obligations does the University of Minnesota have to Native nations
  • What are the fundamental aspects of the political status of Native nations, and why does that status matter?
  • How can we build new relationships and enhance existing relationships with Native nations?
